Business Coaching for Editors

Do you want to make your editing business work better for you? I work with editors who are looking to make a change and want some help getting there.

We’ll discuss your dreams for your business, then work together to come up with a strategy to help you get there. We’ll set long-term concrete goals to help you realize those dreams, and break those goals down into achievable steps that work for you. It’s kind of like developmental editing for your business. And it’s custom designed for your goals and needs.

I’ve worked with editors who have been in the industry for decades and are looking to change their focus. I’ve worked with editors who have been running a business a few years and looking to find their footing. I’ve helped editors come up with plans to launch new services, figure out how to connect with prospective clients, rebrand their business, and more.

My coaching package is $525. It includes four weekly video-chat sessions and a bunch of stuff for you to work on in between them.

Want to discuss how I can help you? Shoot me an email!

I also run online courses for editors. If you enjoy learning in that format, go check them out.

You don’t even know that it’s happening, but as you discuss your business—the gray areas and challenges—somehow your thoughts congeal and finally make authentic sense. Even if this isn’t your first entrepreneurial rodeo, her guidance and alchemical ability to lead you to yourself is unmatched.

Rachel RowlandsTanya is such an approachable, friendly and encouraging coach! I’ve come out of the process with a new perspective, and I feel excited to get started on making changes. She went above and beyond to make sure we had time to talk about important issues that may be holding me back, and helped me figure out how to incorporate my writing life into my business. Thanks to her, I have a much better idea of what matters to me, and what I want my business to look like.
